Katie Kennedy joined Gregory FCA in 2006 and since then has developed strategic public relations and social media campaigns, tactics, and publicity events for a wide array of clients. Katie manages the firm’s growing portfolio of education clients, including colleges and universities, a leading online learning solution platform for students and teachers, as well as a highly-praised national education management organization. For each of these clients, Katie has managed tactical communications plans and secured high-profile media coverage in local, national, trade and broadcast outlets to reach their respective audiences and broaden their visibility.
Outside of the education sector, Katie has also managed successful public relations campaigns for clients in industries such as residential and commercial real estate, e-commerce, consumer healthcare, human resources consulting, manufacturing, not-for-profit, luxury consumer products, vending, and self-service technology.
Katie is Gregory FCA’s event planning expert and has managed major events including new product launches, company announcements, groundbreakings, grand openings, open houses, broker events and several high-profile fundraisers.
She has secured high-impact media coverage for her clients in a range of media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Post, Fortune, Forbes, FOX Business, U.S. News and World Report, The Chicago Tribune, Smart Business, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine, and the New England Journal of Higher Education, among others.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from West Chester University.
